Obedience is one of those things we start learning as young children. We’re (hopefully) taught early about respecting our parents and other authority figures.
We’ve heard all the bible verses on the importance of obedience.
So, it seems we should have it mastered by the time we’re grown right?! Well, I don’t know about you, but I’m not quite there yet.
Following God isn’t always easy.
Especially when he seems to be leading me in the opposite direction of where I want to go. Or asks me to make an impossible decision.
But I know that learning how to hear and obey God leads to blessing and victory. I choose to trust him with my future and the present journey I have to walk to get there.
And you can too.
I’ve put together a few verses on obedience to help all of us along the way.
These scriptures inspire us to trust God’s plan above our own. They help us follow him even when the path gets rough or the way ahead seems hidden.
Most importantly, they remind us that a truly blessed life comes from obeying the very One who gave it to us in the first place.
