Unfortunately, our family is no stranger to grief. In the span of a few short years, we lost my father-in-law, both my grandmothers, and two babies in miscarriages.
We’re all too familiar with the grieving process. We know sadness. We’ve felt pain. We’ve walked through seasons of what seemed like never-ending difficulty.
But those times also provided the opportunity for us to draw closer to God. He used verses of comfort in loss (like the ones below) to remind us of His faithfulness.
We’ve felt His overwhelming comfort in ways we can’t describe. We’ve sensed His supernatural peace in times that we needed it the most.
And we’ve witnessed first-hand His promise to never leave or forsake us.
God never promised us a life without pain or suffering. In fact, He guaranteed quite the opposite. But He did promise to be right there with us through it all.
We all walk through hard times. Maybe you’ve been dealt a hand you never saw coming. Or you’re walking through unimaginable grief that seems too heavy to bear.
If you’re faced with a challenging season, you can find hope in these Scriptures. Whatever your situation, these verses of comfort in loss can help you find peace.
Let them remind you of the Father’s love. And His promise to walk with you through every difficult journey you face.
