10 Biblical Reminders That You Are Unique and Set Apart

One of the most amazing things about the human race is it’s diversity. The uniqueness of a fingerprint or the complexity in a single strand of DNA is astounding.

Despite that, it can be easy to lose our true identity. To become defined by society’s opinions of success or importance.

The world often says, “You are unique because of what you do, how you look, or who you know.”

And we tend to view ourselves through that lens. Instead of through the eyes of our Creator.

We can forget that God designed every person with a specific plan and purpose. His creativity is displayed in each person’s individuality.

Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed." Psalms 139:16

The Bible points to this important truth. It’s definition of uniqueness isn’t found in popular opinion or social media status.

No, the pages of God’s word whisper a different story. One that says you are unique because your Creator loves you. He set you apart and designed a destiny only you can fulfill.

The Bible is filled with precious reminders that you are indescribably loved by God. And that your true identity can be found in him.

So, I’ve put together a few bible verses about the Father’s creative hand.

He knew you before you were born. He planned out your life before you took a single step.

There is a story only you can tell. A life meant for only you to live.

You are unique. And an important piece of this world’s diverse puzzle.

Scriptures on God’s unique design for you

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Psalms 139:13-14 NIV

And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.

Isaiah 64:8 NLT

So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Genesis 1:27 NLT

Scriptures on your value to God

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Matthew 10:29-31 NIV

You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.

Psalms 139:2-5 NLT
